Why the US Congress has restarted hearings about UFOs

The last few years has seen the pace of news related to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (or "UAPs" - the new name for UFOs) gathering steam at an unprecedented rate:

• In 2017 US navy pilots started openly talking about craft they routinely encounter all round the world.

• In 2021 the Pentagon released the first of its reports on UAPs where it admitted the existence of objects in it's airspace that it couldn't identify.

• In 2022, the US Congress reopened hearings on UAPs for the first time in over 50 years.

• Early in 2023, the US military shot down four objects over its airspace, some of which remain unresolved.

• Former Pentagon and CIA staff are openly talking about a non-human intelligence in our midst

• Scientists who have worked on (likely illegal) reverse engineering programs based on recovered non-human craft are turning whistleblower.
